Our aim is to provide useful and credible information written primarily for LGBTI families. The aim is not to exclude other types of families but rather to help Pink Families along their way. We want Pink Families to be a resource to help all families – no matter their shape, size or make up – to be healthy, proud and informed.
Right from the start, the main aim of Pink Families was to provide useful, quality content written specifically for the needs and abilities of Pink Families.
Through Pink Families, we also want to publicize and celebrate the wonderful work that supporters and allies of the LGBTI community – both individuals and groups – are doing around the world.
In order to do this, we promote great material produced by others on our website. We believe that we live in one global community and that through collaboration we can all learn and grow together.
Healthy, proud and informed
As positive change for the LGBTI community lies at the heart of Pink Families, wherever possible, we only promote work, research, businesses and/or products that align with our aim of promoting the health and well-being of LGBTI families. We think this is very important. We are committed to this process.
We hope to get this right but we also realize that we may not always be able to do this. Please work with us on this process and be in touch if you want to alert us to activity that might help us achieve the main aim of Pink Families.
Get involved in Pink Families
You’ve probably worked out by now that Pink Families are families that involve LGBTI individuals in some way, be they parents, children, mothers, fathers, uncles, aunts, sisters, great uncles and aunts, brothers, nieces,
nephews, grandmas, grandpas, and so on.
Pink Families is written by Pink Families for Pink Families. Our aim is to create a place where dialogue and collaboration can take place. We hope you enjoy Pink Families, and we look forward to hearing from you. Please get in touch with us if you have any ideas or suggestions.
