Pink Families are families that involve lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and or intersex individual(s). We are therefore sisters, brothers, moms, dads, aunts, uncles, pet owners, grandpas, grandmas, and so on. We are two moms with grand children and great grandchildren, two dads with kids, we are two grandmas or two grandpas with children, we are single or in a relationship, we are single parents. We are also young children, young adults and adult children with aging parent(s). Pink Families is a platform to celebrate and to help keep these families – no matter their shape, size or make up – healthy, proud and informed. Being lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and or intersex (LGBTI) is something to be celebrated. Our unique and privileged perspective is to be acknowledged and respected. It is our basic human right to be who we are no matter where we live, work or travel.
